DescriptionOur standard GC Cryo-Trap can handle up to megabore capillary columns (1.0mm O.D.). In response to specific customer requests for larger trapping capabilities, we have designed and produced Cryo-Traps that can handle either 1/16" O.D. tubes or 1/8" O.D. tubes. To accommodate these size tubes, the inside capillary tube in the cryo-trap is manufactured with either 1/16" I.D. or 1/8" I.D. stainless steel capillary tube. These traps can be used either inside or outside the GC oven depending on the users requirements. These larger I.D. traps have been used by several users for high flow applications and trapping of analytes outside the GC oven. Call SIS with your specific requirements or for custom mounts or other modifications.
