Quality
SGE has chosen packing materials to provide the highest efficiency, mechanical strength and performance. The table below illustrates the physical and chemical characteristics of packings used by SGE. All SGE columns are tested and supplied with their original chromatogram.
Packings
Wakosil II ™ 5C18 RSHigh purity C-18 packing with very uniform phase coverage. Super end-capping assures excellent results when separating acids and bases.
ExsiI ™Very good general purpose packings. Available in a variety of popular phases, loadings, and particle sizes.
Inertsil ™Low residual silanol levels make Inertsil the preferred packing for acidic and basic compounds, especially when combined with a glass lined column.
Nucleosil™Nucleosil fully end-capped packings all have 300 pore sizes and 5µm particles and are ideal for analysis of proteins, peptides, and other biomolecules.
Hypersil®Available from SGE only in glass-lined columns, this industry standard C18 material offers high separation efficiency and symmetrical peak shapes. Applicable to the separation of a broad range of compounds with respect to polarity.
Ion ExchangeSGE offers both Strong Cation Exchange (SCX) and Strong Anion Exchange (SAX) materials in stainless steel or glass lined columns.
