manufactured MAT 311 compres-
sion stamps are constructed from stainless steel and
come complete with a new gold sealing ring attached
Repair
Compression stamps #490-768 and #490-223 are
repairable, as well. Our repair includes regrooving, cleaning,
and polishing of the stamp and setting a new gold sealing ring.
MAT 311 FABTip
The FAB tip used on the MAT311 and MAT311A are avail-
able from S.I.S. The tip utilizes a hard ceramic base and flat
nickel plate for optimum performance.
Gold Gaskets
Gold Gaskets are custom manufactured by S.I.S. For other
sizes of Gold Gaskets see the Vacuum Section of this catalog.
Used Gold Gaskets are also taken in trade for new gaskets.

Electron Multipliers
Many new Burle** Channeltron Electron Multipliers are now available as retrofits for Thermo MAT Mass Spectrometers. Look for a
complete listing of available multipliers in the multiplier section. All Thermo MAT multipliers are in stock for immediate shipment. flanges
for multipliers which require them are reusable and must only be purchased once.
Ceramic Insulator Cleaning
S.I.S. offers cleaning services for ceramic source insulators.
The insulators are first sandblasted with aluminum oxide, then
with glass beads. This two step process thoroughly removes
any contamination or carbon residue.
Lead Repair
When source leads, or other electrical leads break or
become damaged, they can be repaired. Most of these repairs
can be done for as little as $25.00 if the parts can be repaired
by either spotwelding or silver soldering.

MAT 251 Valve Stem Repair
S.I.S. can now repair the gold tips on the valve stems on the
Varian MAT 251 Isotope Ratio Mass Spec when these tips
become scored. Our repair involves the rebuilding up of the gold
tip, followed by machining to a smooth finished surface.
