Vacuum Pump Oils

SIS distributes the Inland, Fomblin and Santovac lines of vacuum pump fluids for rough vacuums and diffusion pumps.  For rough pumps, the latest oil of choice is Inland 45.  This oil is a highly refined and distilled oil which will provide for optimum vacuum levels and minimal mass spectrometer background.  The Fomblin PFPE oils are non-flammable chemically inert fluids for use in areas where there are high levels of oxygen or where serious corrosion is a problem.  Santovac 5 is the industry standard oil for diffusion pump.  A new more highly refined diffusion pump fluid called Santovac 5P has been developed for ultra-clean applications such as mass spectrometry.  Also available are the Apiezon line of oils and waxes for sealing vacuum joints.
