GE's plunger-in-needle syringes combine maximum
accuracy and reproducibility (±1%) with rugged, durable
construction. Because the plunger extends through to the
tip of the needle, 100% of the sample is dispensed.
The very fine plunger wire of the 0.5µl and 1µl syringes is
uniquely protected by a strong sheath and guide tube. The
syringes are liquid and gas tight to 650 atmospheres although a
Repeating Adapter should be fitted to prevent plunger blow out at
elevated pressures.
Needle and plunger on microvolume syringes are easily
removed for cleaning and replacement.
All needles are provided with cone needle tips. It is
recommend that they be used with predrilled septa.
