Extrel Tungsten Filament

now manufactures filaments for the Extrel mass
spectrometer. The filament press has been redesigned
out of a high purity alumina. Only the tungsten style fila-
ments are presently available and consist of 5 coils of tungsten
wire.
Multipliers for Extrel Mass
Spectrometers
The DeTech multipliers for the Extrel ELQ 400 mass
spectrometers are now available. Two models are listed below.
The model 338 is for the analog only instruments
(equivalent Extrel #U411) and the 413M model is for the pulsed
counting instruments (Extrel #Y61). For other model
multipliers, see the multiplier pages in this catalog.
Extrel Source Heater Assembly
For ELQ 400 Series Instruments
This source heater assembly is constructed from two heater
cartridges (30V, 30W, 1 1/4" long, 1/8" diameter). Complete as
shown with ceramic insulators and connectors.
Extrel Source Insulators
The Extrel Source Ceramic Insulators (Extrel #PM-C-16) are
available from S.I.S. They are available both in ceramic, (EXC1),
like the Extrel originals and in Vespel (EX1V). The Vespel is a
stronger more durable alternative. We also have the Vespel
Washers Q208 and Q209.
