Glass Syringes

The new line of glass syringes offers a glass syringe to meet most applications. Over 10 syringes are offered from 1.0 ml to 200 ml. All the syringes are made from heat resistant borosilicate glass. The material and construction is resistant to breakage from shock and sudden temperature changes. They are all annealed and tested until free of internal strain to withstand repeated washing.

The luer lock tip and the barrel base are reinforced for extra ruggedness. The metal luer lock tip meets the specification of the American National Standards for Medical Materials luer taper fitting performance HIMA MD 70.1 -1983. The fitting is made from chrome plated brass and fits all female luer lock fittings. All syringes are clearly marked with graduations and are permanently fused for lifetime legibility. The cylinder plunger fit is leak proof and meets the requirements of Federal Specification GG-S-92 lb. Each plunger is individually ground and fitted to the barrel for smooth movement with no back flow. The barrel rim is flat on both sides to prevent rolling and is wide enough for convenient finger tip grip. The syringes are available in universal fit or custom fit design. The custom fit syringes are uniquely numbered and are offered as an option. The KDS 410 features two modes of operation a dispense and a withdrawal mode. It is easy to set up and use in 2 quick steps; select the type of syringe and the flow rate. The selectable flow rate is entered directly into the program and stored in memory. A volume can also be set to dispense a known amount and then shut off.

Plastic Syringes

KD Scientific offers a new line of disposable Plastic Sterile Syringes for all Scientific applications. Available in sizes ranging from 1ml to 50ml Luer Slip (LS) or Luer Lock (LL) tip. Norm-ject syringes are the ideal solution for any situation. Their unique two-part system is latex free and contains no silicone lubricant or rubber.

The plastic syringes are made from laboratory grade polypropylene and polyethylene. There is no rubber tip on plunger making them more chemically resistant than rubber tipped syringes. These unique plastic syringes have a positive safety stop to prevent accidental spills.

Syringes are sterile packed and disposable. Luer Slip tips up to 5ml have a centric tip 10ml and larger have eccentric tip. Syringes are latex free, contain no rubber, silicone, oil, styrene or DHP.

Clear transparent barrel for better visual inspection. Clear and inerasable graduation permits easy reading and convenient for accurate delivery. Leakage proof plunger guarantees an excellent sliding performance.

All syringes are FDA registered, CE Mark and ISO9001 certified.

Stainless Steel Syringes

A premier line of stainless steel syringes is now offered by KD Scientific. These syringes are a perfect complement for the NEW KDS 410, KD Scientifics new higher force pump. Rugged Stainless steel syringes are an ideal solution when the pressures and the force are high, completely, eliminating the problems of breaking glass syringes.

Stainless steel offers good resistance to most aggressive liquids. Wetted parts are #16 stainless steel or Viton. Syringes are available in 2.5, 8, 20, 50, 100 and 200 ml sizes with removable replaceable tips. Genuine SWAGELOK&8482; syringe to tube fittings are available in 1/16, 1/8, and 1/4 inch sizes. A luer lock end fitting is also available. All tips are interchangeable with all syringes from 20 to 200 ml in the size.

Both syringes barrel end plungers are #316 stainless steel. A Viton O-ring seal between top and end of the barrel insures against leakage. Syringes are guaranteed to be leak free for pressures up to 7000 psi.

All syringes are supplied with inside diameter dimensions for use with the KDS model 410 series. Replacement Viton O-rings are available as are the more chemically resistant perfluroelastomer O-rings.
