This VB-FFAP columns are obsolete and have been replaced with the VB-WAX columns. The VB-FFAP was a WAX column with a special treatment so that it could be used for free carboxylic acids. Following modification of the VB-WAX formula, similar results for the analysis of free carboxylic acids on VB-FFAP and VB-WAX columns have been obtained. See VB-WAX.
