These taps and dies are used to clean threads or SIS SPTD System fittings.
Neolube is used to coat the threads on fittings to assure a smooth operation. Neolube
is graphite dissolved in MeOH solvent. No oils or other high boiling contaminants are
present to contaminate vacuum of high purity systems.

T
his device is used to inject or load liquid samples directly into the S.I.S. Thermal Desorption Tubes, forcing the syringe contents
onto the adsorbent resins in the desorption tube without any loss of sample due to back evaporation. This technique can be
used to quantitatively inject the standards onto the adsorbent trap without any sample loss. Constructed of stainless steel, the
entire purge head can be baked out in an oven to thoroughly clean and remove contaminants.
The Desorption Tube Injection Head consists of a septum nut with septum for the introduction of the syringe needle and sample. A
purge gas (carrier gas) flushes around the syringe needle purging any sample thereon to be carried onto the desorption tube resins.
