A service lab that provides both contract work as well as collaborative research.

Analyzes organic and inorganic samples for natural abundance stablecarbon-13 and nitrogen-15 isotopes. Will take labeled samples, but the enrichments must be low. We also analyze water samples for oxygen-18 and deuterium, and specialize in small (ul) sample 0-18 analysis. The water samples are primarily directed toward scientists using doubly-labeled water for field metabolic rate measurements on small animals, although we will also do natural abundance measurements.
