MS Filaments and Heaters (Repairs and Replacements)
SIS has been servicing and repairing mass spectrometer filaments for
more than 25 years. We can repair filaments for mass
spectrometers, leak detectors, RGA systems, X-Ray systems and much
more. SIS began to redesign and manufacture filaments more than
18 years ago, based on our experiences in filament repair. We
now manufacture filaments for many manufacturers and for end

Mass Spectrometer Direct Probes and Interfaces
SIS has been manufacturing direct probes for mass spectrometers for
more than 15 years. These include DIP (direct insertion probes)
and DEP (direct exposure probes) for many manufactures
instruments. SIS also custom manufacturers direct probes for
instrument manufacturers or specific customer needs. Recently
we introduced the SIS AutoProbe - an automated direct exposure probe
for the Thermo Finnigan TRACE™ MS/DSQ™/PolarisQ.™ In addition we can supply glass jet
separators and other custom mass spectrometer interfaces.
Ceramic Insulators and other Mass Spectrometer Parts
SIS offers a wide range of ceramic insulators for mass spectrometer
sources. Washers, tubes and solid rod high purity alumina
ceramic insulators for most mass spectrometers are available. In
addition we have parts and accessories for most mass spectrometers
manufactured in the last 20 years. If you don't see or find it,

Mass Spectrometer Software and Books
The NIST 02 Mass Spectrometer database of more than 147,000 mass
spectra with structures is available from SIS. SIMION Version
8.0 is the industry standard software for electron ion optics modeling
- this is used to design mass spectrometer ion optics. David
Sparkman's book entitled "Mass Spec Desk Reference" is
a hand reference tool for any mass spectrometer user.

Electron Multipliers
SIS markets the Detech, Burle and ETP multipliers for mass spectrometers.
So whatever your requirements for an electron multiplier, we can supply it.
Multipliers are normally is stock for immediate shipment.
Calibration Compounds
SIS supplies standard mass spectrometer calibration compounds
including FC-43 (Perfluorotributylamine) and several other
fluorocarbons. We also supply some of the FAB calibration
compounds.
Mass Spectrometer Maintenance Supplies and Services
In addition to cleaning and repairing mass spectrometer filaments,
SIS also cleans and services mass spectrometer sources, repairs vacuum
flanges and vacuum feed-throughs, repairs GC inlets and repairs many
other mass spectrometer and gas chromatograph parts. Our shops
have been expanded over the years to serve the needs of the scientific
instrument community. We have a full CNC machine shop to do
custom machining. We can do TIG vacuum welding and leak
