Finnigan MAT DEP Filaments

Finnigan MAT DEP Filaments Direct Exposure Probe filaments for use on the Finnigan 4000 and 4500 mass specs are available from Scientific Instrument Services. The standard FINDEP filament consists of a rhenium wire with a small loop for depositing samples. These filaments are direct retrofits for the original plug-in filament. Standard sample loop is 0.016 inch diameter.

S.I.S. also offers a variety of other filament designs for use on the Finnigan MAT probe. FINDEP1 has a larger loop diameter of .031 inch. FINDEP2 is a glass encapsulated loop. This provides a metal free surface for your samples. FINDEP3 utilizes a filament ribbon for easy sample loading. Give us a call if you would like to try something different.
