of the purest, non-contaminat-
ing material, they are thermally

bonded

avoid

any

extraneous

contamination matter in the manufacturing
process.

Multi-purpose swabs are available in a

variety of configurations, sizes, and
materials:

is a full-sized rectangular

flexible foam head ideal for computer tape
head cleaning.

•

706A

has an elongated flexible head

and is ideal for use on curved surfaces.

•

708A

is a circular head swab

designed for broader flat surfaces.

•

700A

is the original “foam swab”

banded around a cotton bud.

•

709A

consists of a mini head similar

in shape to a cotton tip swab but covered
with non-linting foam.

•

813

is premoistened with 91%

isopropyl alcohol and 9% deionized water
for precision cleaning of tape heads. The
swab/solution is sealed in a foil packet to
prevent contamination prior to use.

Swabs are available in overall sizes

from 3" to 6" with handles made of nylon,
polypropylene or wood depending upon
end-use.

Multi-Purpose Swabs 700A

These lint-free swabs are ideal for

cleaning small critical areas where
non-contamination is essential. The tips
are made of open cell urethane foam with
absorbent cotton underneath which soaks
up and holds solvents and cleaning
agents. Foam Swabs are unaffected by
solvents, detergents, alcohol, and other
cleaning agents, making them perfect for
cleaning computers, audio and video
heads, data processing equipment, and
electronic and magnetic components.

Tape Head Cleaning Swabs 712A

The

rectangular

flexible

head

configuration make them ideal for cleaning
tape transport components such as heads,
guides, capstans and rollers. These swabs
are made of 100% urethane foam.
Completely pure, these swabs are
thermally bonded.

Usage: Keyboard Cleaning Swabs

consist of an elongated flexible head with a
3” nylon handle.

Wet Swab 813

A new and unique product specifically

developed for quick and easy cleaning of
magnetic tape heads and tape transport
components. They consists of a 100%
urethane foam swab premoistened with a
solvent blend of 91% isopropyl alcohol and
9% deionized water. The swab/solvent is
hermetically sealed in a foil packet to
prevent spills and evaporation of the
solvent

while

protecting

against

contamination prior to use.
