T
he handiest tool around for working with the small capillary
sized graphite ferrules. The tapered spiral tip allows the tool to
be screwed into the capillary sized hole. Despite the small size
of the tip, they last a long time. You can usually find other uses for them
such as cleaning jet tips.
The best shaped tool we could find for the job. The surgical steel
tip can get into the small corners to ferret out the occasional small
pieces of septa found in the threads and corners of the septa cap. It
can also be used to remove small bits of graphite ferrule from the cap
and fitting of column connectors.
A dentist type mirror. Ideal for the inspection of injector and detector fittings.
Used to examine liner and column ends to ensure clean cuts.
