SGE Stainless Steel Chromatography Tubing
T
he SGE annealed type 304 chromatography stainless steel is a high quality material that is specially
produced and cleaned for chromatography use. It has a very smooth, non-contaminated bore. Longer
lengths are supplied in 6" diameter coils and enclosed in a stainless steel spiral mount with ferrules.
Ideal for producing stainless steel capillary columns and for HPLC connecting tubing.
Copper Tubing
Caution:
Copper tubing which bring carrier gas to your injector and column may also be transporting contaminant's that interfere with
your chromatography!
Helpful Hints:
Clean new tubing before you install it by first rinsing with methanol and then methylene chloride.
Connect the tubing to the injection port and heat to 120°C for 2 hours.
Soft Copper Tubing, Coiled
Nylon Tubing
Ideal for air, nitrogen, hydraulic, and other gas and liquid
hookups in the laboratory.
Temperature Range: -60°F to +250°F. For Continuous Use:
-40°F to +200°F. It has excellent dimensional stability.
Nylon tubing is recommended for hooking up air lines to gas
chromatographs. However, it is not recommended for Hydrogen
service. Tubing is available in 100 ft. coils and in 2 colors, natur-
al opaque white and black.
Use with standard Swagelok® fittings.
