Quartz Vials

ample vials manufactured from high
purity quartz are available in the
following dimensions in any length

from 9 to 20 mm. All vials are made to your
specifications and are supplied in packages of
ten, fifty and one hundred vials.

Outside and inside diameters currently

available are listed in the accompanying chart.
Other diameters and lengths of greater than
20mm are available on special request. When
ordering please specify the O.D., I.D., and
length you require. Vials are constructed to the
following tolerances OD ±0.02mm (0.001 inch)
and length ±0.10 mm (0.005 inch).

Direct Probe Sample Vial Blocks

Direct probe sample vial blocks are used to hold sample vials and to evaporate sam-

ples prior to insertion into the mass spectrometer. The blocks are constructed of solid alu-
minum to hold heat.

Please state outside diameter (O.D.) and length of vials when ordering sample

vial blocks. Blocks can be placed on a hotplate or on top of your GC oven to
evaporate samples.

continues to offer two styles of

direct probe sample vials: straight vials
and the flared top vials that are used in

the Thermo mass spectrometers. All vials are
made to your specifications. Straight vials are sup-
plied in packages of one hundred (100), five hun-
dred (500), one thousand (1000), or five
thousand (5000). Lengths from 5mm to 30mm are
available. Outside and inside dimensions current-
ly available are listed in the accompanying chart.
Other dimensions are available on special
request.

Vials are constructed of Borosilicate glass

(Pyrex). O.D. tolerances are ±0.02 mm (0.001
inch) and length tolerance is ±0.10 mm (0.005
inch). The ends are cut clean and straight. Vials
are clean and contamination free.

The following larger O.D. borosilicate glass vials are also available. Other sizes available on

special request

Flared Pyrex Sample Vials

Flared-top sample vials for Thermo* and S.I.S. mass spectrometer probes are

available. The S95 Series fit the Thermo probes and the S17 Series fit the S.I.S. probes.

* 9.0 mm, 10mm and 15.0mm lengths are also available on request at the same prices as listed below.
