PACK-KIT Column Packing Hardware Kit

The Column Packing Kit for use with the pressure injection cells includes vital accessories customers routinely purchase for setting up and using the pressure injection cell. Each kit includes a high pressure regulator, stainless steel 1/8" diameter tubing, 75µm inside diameter capillary tubing and cleaving tool, and a magnetic stir bar.

High Pressure Regulator

A High Pressure Regulator for up to 1500 psi operating pressure for use with Argon, Helium, or Nitrogen. Comes with fitting installed for accepting 1/8" tubing.

Inlet Nipple and Nut

The Inlet Nipple and Nut enables you to use the high pressure regulator with tanks of dry air (in place of Ar, He or N). Order with the High Pressure Regulator and it will be factory installed with the regulator.

1/8" Stainless Steel Tubing 10 Feet Long

Use this tubing to connect the pressure injection cell to the pressure regulator on your tank or to your pressure pump. 1/8" outside diameter, 10 feet long. Rated for 8500 psi.

75 µm Inside Diameter Fused Silica Capillary

Fused Silica Capillary, 75µm ID and cleaving tool. This is the most popular size of capillary used for making packed columns. The 10 meter length of capillary comes on a spool and a cleaving tool is included. This flexible, synthetic fused silica capillary has a polymide coating and is 100% proof tested and 100 ksi.

Adapter 3mm to 1/8"

This adapter mounts on the PC77 Pressure Injection Cell and accepts 3mm outside diameter tubing. This item will come assembled to the pressure injection cell.

Magnetic Stirbar

Magnetic Stirbar, 5mm x 2mm, Teflon® coated. Sized for use in microcentrifuge tubes. Use it to keep particles in suspension in the pressure injection cells.

Frit Kit

Teh Frit Kit includes Kasil 1, Kasil 1624, and formamide for making frits in capillary columns. A ceramic cleaving tool to cut the fused silica capillaries is also included. Included with all the pressure cells.
