Vacuum Pumps (Rough Pumps and Diffusion Pumps)
Edwards and Alcatel lines of rough vacuum pumps and
the Edwards line of Diffusion pumps. These are
the most widely used vacuum pumps in the mass spectrometer and
scientific instrument communities. Repair kits also available.

Both wire reinforced and PVC cord reinforced vacuum hose
for use with vacuum pumps. Both of these hoses are transparent for easy
viewing.
Gaskets and 'O' Rings
A complete selection of gaskets and seals for your vacuum
system. Gold, Viton, Silicone, Buna, PTFE, and Kalrez 'O' rings
available.
Vacuum Gauges
Bayard Albert ion gauges are the industry standard
for most high vacuum applications. Gauge tubes, ion gauge
controllers and gauge cables are available from SIS, including the new
Granville Phillips Stabil-ion Vacuum measurement system
Thermocouple vacuum gauge tubes and controllers used to measure
the higher vacuum levels in areas such as directly on the vacuum
pump.

Vacuum Pump Oils
Inland, Fomblin and Santovac vacuum pump
fluids for rough vacuums and diffusion pumps.
Apiezon oils and waxes are also available for
sealing vacuum joints.
Vacuum Pump Filters and Traps
A large number of vacuum pump filters. Foreline
traps, which are placed between the rough vacuum pump and the
diffusion pump (or turbo pump), protect your vacuum
chamber from oil back streaming from the vacuum pump.
Exhaust filters
are also available to prevent the
vacuum pump exhaust from contaminating the laboratory air. A
two-stage system is highly recommended in
areas where it is not possible to exhaust the vacuum pumps outside of
the laboratory.
