Brazing Rods & Flux #3111
T
he complete package for silver soldering and light braz-
ing. These 40% cadmium-free silver alloy rods are com-
patible with most ferrous metals. Melting temperature is
1300° F and external fluxing is required. These rods melt to give
a silver/white color. Contains: Six rods and one tube of flux.
The brazing rod is of a special alloy that makes it possible to
braze lightweight stainless steel, brass, copper, bronze, as well as
precious metals such as gold and silver.
These are a 45% silver alloy brazing rod with a flux core. No
additional flux or cleansing agents are necessary or desirable for
use. These will braze any metal with a melting point above 1100°
F (593°C) to any similar or different metal. Package #3000A
contains four 1/32" x 6" (.79mm x 152mm) rods. Melting tempera-
ture is 1275° F.
#3105 Stainless Steel Brazing Rods
These brazing rods have a 56% silver content and are
compatible with most ferrous metals, but were specifically
designed for stainless steel bonding. The package contains four
cadmium-free rods with a melting point of 1275° F. External
fluxing #3103 is required.
Aluminum Brazing Rods & Flux
Aluminum Brazing Rods are specifically designed for use on
aluminum. Package contains six 1/16" x 6" (1.59mm x 152mm)
rods. Aluminum Flux is specially designed for use with Aluminum
Brazing Rods. Jar contains 1 1/4 oz. (7.3 gm)
Stay Brite Low Temperature Silver Solder
This is a versatile non-toxic and low cost silver solder of great
strength for working at low temperatures. It has excellent affinity
for all ferrous and nonferrous alloys. It has more than 5 times the
strength of ordinary tin-lead solders. Can be used for all metals
except aluminum. Stay Brite solder is a composition of 96% tin and
4% silver and will melt at 430°F. The finished joint will be silver in
color.
Kit contains 1/2 oz. of Stay Brite silver solder with 1/16" wire
diameter, 1/2 oz. flux, and applicator.
A flux designed for external use and compatible with all of the
silver solder rods offered above.
Harris Safety Silv 1200 Silver Brazing
Alloy
This high 56% silver content alloy makes first-quality brazes. It
is free-flowing, with unequaled capillary attraction and deep
penetration. Ductility is very high, corrosion resistance suitable for
all but strong chemical applications. Offers highest elongation of
the silver brazing alloys. The non-toxic composition deems it
suitable for use in the food processing industry and laboratory.
