uilt on the OPTI-LYNX quick-connect platform, OPTI-LYNX trap cartridges provide a versatile, easy-to-use cartridge based trap-
ping system. Each cartridge shares the same external dimensions, so that switching chemistries or capacities is only a matter
of a quarter-twist.
OPTI-LYNX traps are packed with special large particle silica and polymeric based materials to strike the perfect compromise between
sample capacity and backpressure. This choice of material gives OPTI-LYNX trap users a myriad of sample processing options. An OPTI-
LYNX trap cartridge may be set up in the loop of an injection or switching valve to facilitate on-line trapping. Alternatively, the large parti-
cle size is amenable to off-line, hand-loading applications. You can even combine the two: loading a trap off-line and then installing it in
your LC for elution directly into the solvent flowpath.

he OPTI-PAK Capillary Trap Cartridge utilizes the ultimate in engineering and fluidic design to deliver a trap column that is both
easy to use, and extremely effective.The OPTI-PAK is specially designed for use in today's low volume applications. With bed
volumes ranging from 0.12 無 to 5.0 無, you can be sure to find the perfect balance between sample capacity and trap volume.
A packed stem, enabled by a proprietary method of frit placement, places the packed bed directly into the flowpath, eliminating all excess
swept volume. Less swept volume translates to an absolute minimum in sample dilution and dispersion. The unique hardware design inte-
grates a PEEK holder with an auto-adjusting stem that fluidly interfaces to any 10-32 port, providing a zero-dead-volume connection no
matter what the tube stop depth.
