Sample Loops for Cheminert Valves
Sample loops for C1, C2, C2V, C3, C6, C52, and C72 valves. Each metal loop includes two 1/16" stainless ferrules. Each PEEK loop
includes two PEEK nuts and two PEEK ferrules.
Materials
Standard materials are stainless steel, titanium, and PEEK. Other materials are available in many sizes. Electroformed Nickel,
Hastelloy C, Nickel 200, and PTFE. Contact SIS for the optional materials.
1/16" Stainless Steel Loops
For W type valves. Each stainless steel loop includes two stainless
nuts and two stainless ferrules. Order special fittings separately. Loops
are electrolytically cut an electrochemically polished to insure square,
burr-free ends, then cleaned with microfiltered steam from deionized
water.
Valco sample loops are accurately sized for each valve type. The
volume tolerance matches the ID tolerance of the tubing, which is typ-
ically ± 0.001" for Valco tubing. This results in a variance ranging form
205 with tubing of 0.005" diameter (0.001" us 20% of 0.005") to 2.5%
for loops made from tubing 0.040" in diameter.

Loops > 2 ml are made from 1/8" OD tubing with brazed or welded
1/16" tube ends or reducing unions.
SIS HPLC Backpressure Regulators
Use these adjustable regulators to improve baseline stability by preventing bubble formation as dissolved gasses expand post-col-
umn. Install on detector drain line or on waste line in split-flow systems. Since only Kalrez and PEEK come in contact with the fluid path,
these regulators can be used in-line between detectors or before a fraction collector.
