Tape insulation has
a melting point of
3200°F. Continuous
service temperature
is 2600°F. Flexible
tape can be cut and formed into complex shapes. It has excellent
resistance to most chemicals and solvents. Excellent electrical
properties. Its non-stick surface resists molten metals.

Fiber
Tapes
#375 Foil covered ceramic fiber tapes provide an effective
and economical means for insulation of pipes, valves, fittings,
high temperature equipment, etc.
#375 Thermal Stop is fabricated from high purity aluminum
oxide based ceramic fiber with a melting point in excess of
3200°F and 2300°F continuous use and is uniquely bonded to a
2 mil thick layer of aluminum foil.
Thermeez Woven Ceramic Tape
A
high strength woven ceramic tape. Thermeez 395
(Asbestos Free) is fabricated to replace asbestos
where heat, strength, durability, dimensional and
chemical stability, and electrical resistance are required. It is non-
toxic, meets OSHA requirements, will not burn and is resistant to
molten metal sparks, splashes and most chemicals and solvents.
Unlike fiberglass, Thermeez 395 is non-irritating to the skin.
Thermeez 395 Pressure Sensitive special adhesive simplifies
the placement of tape, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
This specially designed adhesive has a continuous use tempera-
ture for most applications of up to 1100°F, allowing for insulation
of tongs, forceps, hot working tools, glass handling equipment,
etc.
Ceramic Flexible
Sleeving
Thermeez 395 high strength
ceramic is a woven ceramic
sleeving fabricated as a direct
asbestos replacement where heat,
strength, durability, dimensional,
chemical and electrical resistance
is required. lt is non-toxic, will not
burn, is resistant to molten metal,
most chemicals and solvents and is
five times stronger than asbestos
cloth. Continuous use up to
1100° F.
