Gold Foil

This gold foil is manufactured from the same high purity 99.99% pure gold as our gold wire vacuum gaskets. It is available in 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", and 1" widths in seven thicknesses from .001" to .015". Pure gold (99.99%pure) used in gold gaskets and wires sold by S.I.S. can be sent back for credit or exchange when purchasing new gaskets. Only pure gold, no alloys, accepted.

Silver-Tin for Gasket Fabrication

96% Tin, 4% Silver, 0.031" and 0.062" diameters.

This wire can be used for the fabrication of O' Ring gaskets on instruments such as the Dupont Mass Spectrometers which do not utilize heated flanges. It provides an inexpensive substitute for the gold wire gaskets on vacuum instruments. This material should not be used for gaskets on heated flanges above 152 degrees C.

- For high temperature applications use Gold Wire Ring Gaskets.
