Custom Line-of-Sight Probes

Scientific Instrument Services has also manufactured custom Line-of-Sight (LOS) probes for use on the Finnigan MAT 8200 series mass spectrometers. These probes allow the user to change GC columns without venting of the mass spectrometer. The probe has an integral flexible transfer line for connection to the GC. The probe assemblies can be heated by a variety of methods and controllers including the extra heated circuits on the gas chromatographs.
