New Calibration Compound for Mass Spectrometers

Scientific Instrument Services introduces a new fluorinated polyaromatic for use in calibrating mass spectrometers. This compound's major feature is the complete range of mass peaks in the spectrum of 50 to 650 mass units. This makes it as useful as FC-43 and FC-70 combined. It is a liquid at room temperature (down to -20 degrees) which renders it useful in the calibration reservoirs on mass spectrometers normally used for PFK and other calibration compounds.
