Dupont 21-490, 491 and 492 Filaments

Dupont Filament

S.I.S. has redesigned the filaments for the Dupont 490 series mass spectrometers. We use ceramic presses instead of very fragile glass presses. The result is a filament that is much stronger, much easier to rebuild, and has a longer life than the Dupont originals. The filaments come complete with rhenium ribbon filament, filament post mounted shield, and silver filament leads. For the repair of these filaments see the Dupont Filament Repair Section.
