The Alcatel Model UM 2005 vacuum pump can be used on the HP 5970 MSD's. These two-stage Alcatel vacuum pumps will provide greater pumping efficiency, better vacuum levels, lower operating temperatures, and greatly increased vacuum pump life as shown in the table below.
