GC Injection Port Liners

GIPL2 - Grooved Tip on Injection Port Liner

A wide variety of glass and quartz injection port liners are available for use in the heated injection ports of gas chromatographs. Injection port liners provide for the heating of samples in the GC injection port with minimal sample decomposition and reduce the problem of GC column contamination. Glass injection port liners are used in most applications; however, S.I.S. also supplies quartz liners for applications requiring higher temperatures and more inert surfaces. Injection port liners can be silyated with Dimethyldichlorosilane to further reduce glass surface reactivity as described below. The glass injection port liners described are completely clear with polished ends. The quartz injection port liners are opaque in appearance. Due to several customer requests we also can supply injection port liners with a gas inlet groove cut in the side of the liner. These liners are listed below under part numbers GIPL2 and QIPL2. Other configurations are available on special request.
