Finnigan-MAT 4000 Filaments

These new filaments were redesigned and are manufactured by Scientific Instrument Services. They have fewer parts, are easier to rebuild, and are less costly to manufacture. The one piece body is a solid ceramic with filament posts and silver leads permanently attached. Each filament comes complete with filament shield and rhenium filament ribbon. The larger posts are stronger, resulting in a sturdier filament, which is less likely to sag out of alignment. (Finnigan #40004-60070).
