Principle Behind Ultrasonic Cleaners

High frequency electrical energy is converted into ultrasound waves by means of ultrasonic transducers, which are bonded to the base of a Stainless Steel Water Tank. These high frequency sound waves create in the liquid countless, microscopic vacuum bubbles, which rapidly expand and collapse. This phenomenon is called cavitation. These bubbles act like miniature high speed brushes, driving the liquid into all the openings and minute recesses of the object immersed in the liquid. Intense scrubbing by the process of cavitation cleans away all the dirt and soil from the object immersed and the object comes out perfectly cleaned. Intricate objects can be cleaned with either complete or little dismantling.

• Operating frequency of 33 +/- 3 KHz, for all general purpose cleaning is highly recommended. An operating frequency of 50 KHz is also available

• Micro controller based timer range 0 to 15 minutes. 30 and 99 minute timers are also available.

PCI Probe Sonicator

The Probe Sonicator is a tool specifically designed for Pharmaceutical and Chemical Labs as well a Research Institutes, Colleges, and Universities. It consists of:

• An ultrasonic generator to produce high frequency electrical energy, operating at a frequency of 20Khz and 120 watts if power.
• A stainless steel velocity horn fitted with a PZT transformer. This velocity horn converts the electrical frequency energy fed from the ultrasonic generator to mechanical vibrations at the rate of applied electrical frequency. The amplitude of these mechanical vibrations are magnified by the velocity horn.
