PLASTIC, ACRYLIC, PORCELAIN, WOOD FINISHES BURN INS, SOLID SURFACE, FIBERGLASS, DECOUPAGE, AND MORE:
Step 1 - Only Micro-Mesh as coarsely as needed to remove the original damage. If you can still see the original damage after using the first grade, repeat using a coarser grade. Only the scratch pattern left by the Micro-Mesh should remain. Sand using a straight line pattern. On the next Micro-Mesh step, change direction so you’re sanding perpendicular to the previous pattern. This will help you with consistency. We encourage water be used for lubrication when possible.
Steps 2 - Progress up through the grits, going finer and finer until you match or reach the desired gloss level. If more gloss is required, apply a small amount of the MICRO-GLOSS after the Micro-Mesh 12000 step, using the flannel buffing cloth.
Rinse the used pads in water and set out to air dry, store for future use.
The handi-files can be used in hard to reach places, for removing parting lines, etc.
