Media Lab Bottles, Non-graduated

 Widely used for the mixing and storage of culture media when fitted with a rubber-lined cap and for distilled water, analytical standards and reagents when fitted with a polyethylene-lined cap. Large opening, special lip and sloping shoulders facilitate pouring and cleaning. Metal foil liners are generally more resistant to organic solvents while PTFE liners are inert to most chemicals. Bottles, rubber-lined and PTFE-lined caps are autoclavable.

Wheaton "400" borosilicate glass (meets USP Type I standards) has low alkali content to help prevent changes in pH and maintain purity of contents.
