Maximum Humidity Indicator Cards

Designed to indicate the highest relative humidity level to which goods have been exposed. Blue crystals in each rated indicator window dissolve when exposed to the rated RH for 24 or more hours. The highest percentage spot containing dissolved solids indicates maximum humidity reached.

Reversible Humidity Indicator Cards

Reversible Indicators work much like a thermometer, fluctuating to indicate the current relative humidity level as indicated by a lavender color. Spots change form blue (dry) to pink (humid) as relative humidity changes. Spots will change within eight hours of being exposed to a change in relative humidity and turn back from pink to blue when the volume of air is dried.

Shelf Life	Maximum Humidity Indicator Cards: 1 year from date of shipment in unopened can: 6 months once can has been opened. Reversible Humidity Indicator Cards: 3 years in unopened can, shelf-life will degrade after can is opened.
Storage	Store container in a cool, dry environment to maximize shelf life. Indicators must be stored in the original sealed container until used. Replace desiccant periodically after container is opened. Keep away from ammonia gases which render the indicators useless. Do not open individual bags until ready to use.
Color Change Material	Proprietary humidity sensing compound. Avoid direct contact with metals. May cause corrosion.
Presentation	Cardstock or blotter paper with identifying text, packaged in bags or sealed cans.
