Solid Sampling

Hydraulic Press

• A complete laboratory hydraulic press producing a force of about 15 tones. Used to make high quality 13 mm pallets which are used for IR/FTIR/XRF solid sampling.
• It is a compact, elegant and robust machine, typically used by R & D and QC labs for various pelletizing applications for IR/XRF etc.
• The high pressure pumping unit supplies hydraulic fluid to the up-stroking ram of the cylinder. This causes the ram to rise steadily and positively in the upward direction. As a result, pressure is applied on any object placed between the screw and piston top plate.

KBr Die Set

The most commonly used die for IR/FTIR for solid sampling of 13 mm pallet size consists of anvil and plunger, top and bottom die port, extractor ring, and an O-ring.

Pallet Holder & Agate Mortar and Pestle

The pallet holder is used to hold the 13 mm pallet of KBR and is suitable to any IR/FTIR.

The agate mortar and pestel is used to prepare the sample.

Nacl / Kbr Windows

• Nacl/Kbr window are available in circular and rectangular shapes
• Standard sizes:
  • Circular: 25mm dia. x 4mm thickness
  • Rectangular: 38mm x 19mm x 4mm thickness
• Other windows like Agcl/CLF and other dimensions are also available

Universal Liquid Cell Holder

The cell holder is used to mount circular as well as rectangular windows. It can be used as demountable cell and fixed thickness cell using different spacers supplied along with PTFE washers of different sizes. The mull cell holder is used to mount circular window and for mull samples.

Dry Box

The ideal method for storage of FTIR / XRF Accessories, which are affected by moisture being highly hydroscopic in nature, is in a dry box.
